Position Overview
We are currently seeking a compassionate and reliable German/ Polish-speaking Personal Support Worker (PSW) to support elderly clients. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about senior care and can provide both practical assistance and meaningful companionship in the client’s preferred language.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, skin care)
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Support with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Assist with medication reminders (as directed)
- Observe and report changes in client condition
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
Qualifications & Requirements
- PSW certification (required)
- Fluent in German (required)
- Experience caring for elderly clients (home care or facility setting preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Valid police clearance (Vulnerable Sector Check)
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
- Reliable transportation (asset)

Compensation
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
