We not only meet their care needs by delivering professional nurses, caregivers and therapists, but we also ensure they receive a consistent caregiver who is scheduled regularly throughout their care.
As a Meridian Home Health Care Registered Practical Nurse, you will be required:
- To provide 1-on-1 nursing care, carry out nursing treatments, tracheostomy care: including suctioning, stoma care, tube changes, and managing urgent situations, administer medications, take vital signs, and blood pressure, chart and assist with activities of daily living to further support independence and well-being.
- Bring a positive and friendly attitude.
Education & Qualifications:
- Current active registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Copy of Professional Certification
- Maintains competence relative to current practices.
- Experience with geriatric and pediatric care is an asset.
- N95 Mask fit certificate.
- 2 step TB test within the last 2 years.
- Both Doses COVID Vaccine Passport + booster
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) certification
- Demonstrated ability in providing patient-focused care
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Effective conflict management and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills, able to prioritize and multi-task efficiently.
- Current Knowledge of Ontario Public Health Standards.
- Valid driver's license and vehicle

Compensation
$40.00 - $45.00 per hour
